Hathaway to give local concert


Neo-soul crooner Eric Roberson rocked the house last year in Harrisburg. Now his previous collaborator, Lalah Hathaway, will perform in Harrisburg on June 5th. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. Hathaway is the daughter of the late soul legend Donny Hathaway. Tickets cost $50. Call 717.651.9280 for more info.

What do LeSean McCoy and DJ Drama have in common? Jadakiss. McCoy and Dream Catcher Entertainment will hold Community Day at 11 a.m. in Harrisburg on May 15th. The event will offer acitivites for all ages. McCoy will cap the night off with a performance by Jada at Eclispe Nightclub in Harrisburg. That’s the new release date for Drake’s highly anticipated Thank Me Later album, Drake said at his April 9 concert at  Bryce Jordan Center in State College. His collaborator, Jay-Z, performed at BJC on Oct. 9, 2009. Initially, Thank Me Later was slated for release on February 14 but was pushed back to May 25. Continue reading ‘Leader of the new school’
