That’s the release date for Joey Bada$$’ highly anticipated debut album. Joey planned on releasing his album, B4.Da.$$ (pronounced before da money), this year. Now it’s slated to drop on his 20th birthday. As a protégé of Q-Tip, Questlove and J. Dilla, one could call Joey a Soulquarian. In the beginning of the trailer for B4.Da.$$, the rapper and Pro Era member Powers Pleasant ride skateboards, a visual that mirrors the cover of Joey’s classic mixtape 1999. The cinematic album trailer and No Regrets short film show that music isn’t the only medium on Joey’s artistic palette.

For the grand finale, Redman climbed on top of a large speaker onstage. To create some suspense, he stood from the elevated area, waited about a minute and dived fearlessly into a sea of fans. Our website thought the hunt for the Red Octobers was over. Jordan Stasyszyn told vigoronline that the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October is one of the only sneakers that could top the rare kicks from his last expo. One patron wore the Red Octobers at Stasyszyn’s second annual Harrisburg Sneaker Expo on Sept. 7. A vendor brought a pair of those kicks, too.
We posted the photo of the patron’s Yeezys, but some people questioned the sneaker’s authenticity. Therefore, we removed the photo, and we offered this link to help sneakerheads identify fake kicks. Continue reading ‘Second time around’
