Nothing beats a free concert during the recession—especially if Kindred the Family Soul headlines it.
Philadelphia–based Kindred, who inked a deal Hidden Beach Recordings, is labelmates with neo-soul queen Jill Scott (who also hails from Philly). The married duet, consisting of Aja Graydon and Fatin Dantzler, are known as the modern-day Ashford & Simpson.
