Jean-Michel Basquiat began as as a graffiti artist in New York City.
With aquaintences, such as Andy Warhol, Madonna and Fab Five Freddy, Basquiat became an international art star. Basquiat also appears in Blondie’s video for the 1981 hit song “Rapture.” The DVD, Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child, will be released Nov. 9.
