King Push

To wrap up 2013, a recent episode of MTV’s RapFix Live featured freestyle cyphers of some of hip-hop’s talented newcomers, such as Troy Ave and Lantana. RapFix also showcased a cypher of rising artists, including Ohio’s Alexander Dreamer, Canada’s ShaqIsDope and Mississippi’s Slimm Pusha.

Some of those rising artists dropped sick bars. But when Slimm gave a charismatic intro and rap delivery, he stood out. He proved he was born to be a star. Slimm, né Elliott Sirah, hails from the city of Jackson. Check out Slimm’s woozy, slow-tempo “FadedFuqFaces.”
