Check out my melody

In case you haven’t heard Fetty Wap’s debut Fetty Wap, it’s a solid album. Like Drake, Fetty, 24, has a good ear for melody. He brought that same sound–and energetic stage presence–to the Bryce Jordan Center on Feb. 13.

Post Malone opened up for Fetty. The Paterson, NJ,-based rapper-singer said his knee is still recovering from a motorcycle accident in September, but his dancing made the injury unnoticeable. He lost his left eye due to glaucoma and embraced his missing eye on his album cover. During “Jugg,” collaborator Monty gives an impressive verse, stressing certain words in his bars. Fetty rapped acapella in some verses in “Trap Queen” to help build the beat. He wore a mustard colored hoodie, tapered sweat pants and white Air Force 1’s. Later in the show, he was clad in a Penn State jersey.

According to Penn State’s student newspaper, the concert was originally booked for a smaller venue. “This is going to be the biggest venue for the ‘Welcome to the Zoo’ tour, Bernie Punt said. Punt is the BJC’s director of sales and marketing. “Sales were so demanding. We would have sold out weeks ago if we didn’t switch the location.”
