Plane Jaymes, nephew of Zulu Queen Michele, has been sharpening his rap bars since 2002. And his work has paid off.
The Harrisburg-based rhyme spitta has collabos with everyone from local artist J. Bair to hip-hop heavyweight Yo Gotti. According to Jaymes’ manager, Gotti liked Jaymes’ song “Water Wet,” so he asked to jump on the track. Jaymes performed at the Beats of the Burg local rap showcase. The event, held at Appalachian Brewery Co. in Harrisburg, took place on April 2. Check out Jaymes’ SoundCloud page.
