Talent Da Comedian.
As one the Harlem Globetrotters, Chris “Handles” Franklin dominates the basketball court. Now he’s showing he can make a slam dunk with events, too.
On July 31 at Harrisburg’s Club XL Live, comedians Talent Da Comedian and A.J. Johnson performed. Talent, a comedian, actor and writer, appeared on Def Comedy Jam and in movies such as Sunset Park. Johnson, a comedian and actor, also appeared in movies including House Party, Menace II Society and, most notably, Friday.
Franklin held the comedy show in conjunction with Samson Entertainment. During the show, Franklin said the show’s nice turnout proved Harrisburg can hold a successful show on a Wednesday night. On Aug. 23, Franklin will hold Taste of Harrisburg, a charity where the top 20 restaurants will serve their signature dishes.
