The Keri Hilson and Shad “Bow Wow” Moss show reminded concertgoers of the 106 & Park TV-show era. The Juneteenth concert, held at XL Live in Harrisburg on June 18, was sold out, but attendants had to request a ticket for the free event.

Keri Hilson wore a black shirt, hat and boots with a teal and black trench jacket. Her cool dance moves and hit songs captivated the crowd. “Knock You Down,” “Slow Dance” and “Pretty Girl Rock” were some songs from her set.

Bow Wow, aka Mr. 106 & Park, performed after Hilson. He was clad in a white, long-sleeved T-shirt and shorts from his BWApparel clothing line.

He performed singles including “Like You.” While the song “I Think They Like Me” blasted from the speakers, Bow Wow did the “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” dance.

Amber “Amberella” Luster hosted the concert. At one point in the show, the Harrisburg resident did an outfit change, coming onstage wearing black BWApparel shorts and a white top.

“It felt amazing to host,” Luster exclaimed. “I live for entertaining the crowd … I was definitely in my element, and I enjoyed every second of it.”

Local acts Mika Hill, Jream Love, Nova, Diva Davenport and Yung Dev opened up for Hilson and Bow Wow. Young Professionals of Color-Greater Harrisburg (YPOC) and Handles & Sampson Entertainment made the event possible.
