Omarion in Philly

I don’t know if Omarion will be able to ever top his video for “Touch.” But the video for his new single “Speedin” still does a good job of illustrating the song. Check O out when performs at Philly’s Theatre of Living Arts on March 6.

Snoop Dogg
The year is young—but I think it’s safe to say that Snoop Dogg’s “I Wanna Rock” is going to be one of the best singles of 2010. Snoop, like Jay-Z, is a rap vet, but he’s agruably one of the most relevant artists in today’s rap game. Check out  Snoop when he performs in Philly on Feb. 28. You can also download his “I Wanna Rock” (remix featuring Jigga) right here. Continue reading ‘Upcoming events’

The Harrisburg area’s smaller urban music market can only attract B-list celebrities sometimes. But on Dec. 20, LeRon McCoy (LeSean’s brother) and Reggie Guy of Dream Catcher Entertainment came on stage and debunked the haters and naysayers. Dream Catcher did manage to bring two A-list acts to Harrisburg, they told the audience. Continue reading ‘Say aah’

Rakim will still perform

Talk about your obstacles: First the bus. Now the snow.

Rakim’s bus broke down on Nov. 14, so he rescheduled his concert for today. According his spokesperson Matthew Kemp, the show will still go on tonight despite the snow. Judd Goodman, Dragonfly Club proprietor, also confirmed that the concert will be held at his venue. Click here to read our interview with Rakim.
