Drake is readying to headline his first tour while he prepares to drop the most anticipated hip-hop album of 2010. Today marked the first day of general-public ticket sales for his Home Away from Home Tour at Penn State University. Drizzy will perform at PSU on April 9 and at Cheyney University on May 6. The year is young—but I think it’s safe to say that Snoop Dogg’s “I Wanna Rock” is going to be one of the best singles of 2010. The Harrisburg area’s smaller urban music market can only attract B-list celebrities sometimes. But on Dec. 20, LeRon McCoy (LeSean’s brother) and Reggie Guy of Dream Catcher Entertainment came on stage and debunked the haters and naysayers. Talk about your obstacles: First the bus. Now the snow.
Rakim’s bus broke down on Nov. 14, so he rescheduled his concert for today. According his spokesperson Matthew Kemp, the show will still go on tonight despite the snow.
