Fans will have to wait another month to see Soulja Boy crank that in Harrisburg. The promoter pushed the concert back to Jan. 22. Tickets for the original Dec. 10 date will be honored on Jan 22. Ticket sales will resume at http://www.ticketannex.com, Mr. Mike’s, Music Man, and Xclusive Music on Dec. 24.
Despite the concert’s postponement, the region offers other events this holiday season: Clothing line proprietor Charles Miller will launch his new line, Charles Miller International, at a black-tie affair on Dec. 10. Miller graduated from his urban wear brand (Keep It Movin’ Garments) to a classier line. He told vigoronline.com that his event in Harrisburg will include giveaways and details about his brand. He added that the black-tie affair will be “a well put-together event to give you a good understanding of what Charles Miller International/Charles Miller Brand is and where it is going.” Charles Miller International consists of denim, knits, wovens and luggage.
On Dec. 11, artist Michelle G, aka One Artistic Lady, will push the artistic envelope by dropping her Seal It with a Kiss CD at a release party in Harrisburg. “A lot of people don’t like house music, and I feel it’s an insignificant part of the music scene,” Michelle G said on reverbnation.com. “I obviously disagree. House music has actually influenced a lot of the beats you hear in music today.” She told our site that she choose the date (12/11/10) because it’s a countdown to her CD release.
Michelle G’s colleague, Chadd Scott, continues to entertain the area with Soul Comedy Café on Dec. 12. Trey Songz and Miguel will open up for Usher in Philly on Dec. 16. For more info on these and other events, see below.
