Still grindin’

Alone in Philly: Pusha T rocks the mic. Photo by Leon Laing.

Heineken did it again. Another dope show under its belt. Speaking of dope, Pusha T headlined Heineken’s G.O.O.D. Music concert at Philly’s Theatre of Living Arts on June 29. Cyhi Da Prynce opened up for Pusha.

Pusha T appears laid back in his interviews. But when the Clipse member morphs into a performer on stage, his eyes illuminate. He becomes animated. He fleshes out his songs with each bar. Some of the hits from Pusha’s set included “Alone in Vegas,” “Can I Live” and “My God.”

Philly’s own Ab-Liva was also in the house. (Ab, Pusha and Malice make up the Re-Up Gang group.) Tahiry Jose, a model and Joe Budden’s former flame, hosted the concert.
