The Bawse in the Burg

On May 6, the Heat smashed the Knicks 105 to 86.  Another Miami-based local triumphed that night, too.

When Rick Ross rocked the mic at XL Live in Harrisburg, he performed in front of a sold-out crowd. He was clad in blue and white Jordan 3s, distressed jeans and a Los Angeles Dodgers hoodie and hat. Harrisburg University Presents held the show.

The Bawse makes quality music, videos, etc. Therefore, his stage presence was nothing different. Occasionally, the artist would sit on his throne and spit bars. He performed “All I Do is Win,” “Hustle Hard Remix,” “Pop That,” “John,” “Stay Schemin’” and more.

Ross didn’t give any sign that his set was ending, so I thought he took a break when he walked off the stage. When I finally realized what happened, the ending felt abrupt. A spokesperson from Harrisburg University Presents said Ross decided to end the show that way, not them.

In 2011, Ross opened for Lil Wayne’s I am Still Music Tour at Hershey’s Giant Center.
